4th of July Fireworks in New York City

Macy’s 38th annual 4th of July fireworks show in New York City will be an unforgettable experience. This year’s show will be presented on the East river with the majestic and iconic Brooklyn Bridge anchoring the event in a timeless backdrop. On July 4 the pyrotechnic show begins at 9pm. More than 40,000 fireworks are scheduled to burst. Arriving early to the southeastern area of Manhattan will ensure a great viewing spot. Click here  for the best viewing locations.

The televised event will  be broadcasted on NBC beginning at 8PM eastern time. Hosted by Nick Cannon, the event will include celebrities such as Enrique Iglesias, Miranda Lambert, Lionel Richie and others. 

This year, America’s national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner, turns 200. Frozen star Idina Menzel recorded a special edition and you can listen to it for free here on Macy’s website through July 5.
